Grandma Jean

I am a busy lady and my cat whom I call "Miss Joy" or "Joy" can attest to that.  She follows me to the door in hopes of escaping with me, and when I come home later than normal, she gives me the old MEOW chide for being away so long.  Then she greets me by rolling over for me to rub her belly.  When I walk away, she follows me, brushing her warm body against my legs until I pick her up and give her a big "kitty hug".

I am a part time receptionist and switchboard operator and love it.  When I come home, I'm either writing, gardening, reading, or walking.  I rarely sit down and watch television.  I'd rather read a good book (unless it's Hallmark movies or the Christy series).

I'm the mother of two adult sons and grandmother of three.

My Lord and my church are my life and lifeline. Friends are the links in the chain that keep me close to the important things of life.  Prayer works and I am living proof of it.
